Charleston & Lowcountry Music Festivals

Charleston and coastal South Carolina offer a wide variety of very popular music festivals that draw visitors to the region in their hundreds of thousands, many of them timed to take best advantage of South Carolina’s beautiful spring and fall weather.

Jazz festivals in and near Charleston include the Charleston Jazz Festival and Greater Charleston Lowcountry Jazz Festival, the Savannah Jazz Festival, and the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival.

Country, folk and bluegrass festivals include the Charleston Bluegrass Festival, Birdfest in Pinewood, SC, the Carolina Country Music Fest and the South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival in Myrtle Beach.
