Most of Charleston’s major events and festivals are scheduled for the more agreeable months of fall through spring, and barring the 4th of July holiday, there are comparatively few events on during this month.
Regular outdoor summer events include music-and-dancing evenings on the Mount Pleasant pier, and weekly wine tastings with live music at the Deep Water Vineyard on Wadmalaw Island.
