By March, Charleston is starting to warm up and its event calendar is filling out again after the winter lull. The Charleston Wine + Food Festival is one of the bigger events of the month, along with Charleston Fashion Week and the spring editions of the city’s annual house and garden tours.
St Patrick’s Day in Charleston might not be as big as in its sister city, Savannah, but it still puts on several events, with a downtown parade and other Irish heritage celebrations beyond the peninsula too.
