Marion Square Events

Marion Square, located in the heart of the Charleston peninsula, is one of the city’s most popular historic parks, serving as a recreational space and as a gathering place and events space for many of Charleston’s biggest and longest-standing events.

For most visitors, Marion Square is best known as the site of Charleston’s favorite farmers market, bringing local produce farmers, food vendors, artists and craftspeople to the square every weekend from spring through the holiday period.

Marion Square also hosts a variety of other events, including events from big festivals such as the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Charleston Wine + Food Festival, the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and the MOJA Arts Festival, to community events, holiday celebrations and fundraisers.
