June marks the onset of the peak summer season in Myrtle Beach, as large numbers of families flock to the Grand Strand’s 60-mile-long stretch of beaches.
This is a great month for outdoor and family-focused events, with some form of entertainment – often centered around the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and the major resorts and attractions – on offer most days through the month.
Bigger June events in Myrtle Beach include the Carolina Country Music Fest, the Brookgreen Art Festival, and the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club’s annual car show, along with many other community events and heritage festivals, art fairs, and more.
Throughout the month, there are also several free outdoor concerts, summer entertainment series, fireworks displays and free family-friendly outdoor movies.
