Myrtle Beach Boat Rentals

Marsh scenery near Myrtle Beach, SC.

Most boat rentals in the Myrtle Beach area are available on the Intracoastal Waterway, the Grand Strand’s section of which stretches from the Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge up to the North Carolina state line.

If you want to explore the upper Waccamaw River and refuge, a rental out of Conway or near Socastee is best (for the lower Waccamaw NWR, see boat rentals out of Murrells Inlet).

If you just want to cruise the Intracoastal Waterway, rentals are also available from the more central parts of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. If you want to visit the inlet at Little River (near North Carolina) and the undeveloped barrier islands there, one of the more northerly rental locations (still on the ICW) will usually be most convenient.

Please note that maximum passenger numbers are averaged based on a total weight capacity for the boat, on the assumption that some members of the group will be children or smaller adults.

If your group will consist entirely of adults, have several larger people, or you intend to bring a lot of equipment or other items on board, your rental boat may not be able to carry the stated maximum number of guests. Please inquire directly with the rental company to make sure the boat will meet the needs of your group.
