Myrtle Beach In February

February is a slow month for tourism in Myrtle Beach, with most visitors at this time of year looking to escape the bitter northern winters. This is a good month for getting a great deal on accommodation, and there is still plenty to do in Myrtle Beach and nearby.

February weather is very variable, and while you could get warm and sunny weather perfect for outdoor activities and walks on the beach, much colder weather is also likely, when Myrtle Beach’s shopping, restaurant scene, shows and indoor attractions will be the more appealing choices.

Events this month include the Quilt Show and Chocolate Walk in the riverfront town of Conway, and oyster roasts at Murrells Inlet. For a wider range of festivals and events, consider a day trip to the beautiful, historic city of Charleston, about two hours south along the coast.
